While working on the letters desk at The Daily Telegraph, Iain started collecting the best unpublished letters to the editor. Some were just a little too whimsical, or too risqué, to publish in a serious newspaper. Others were completely and utterly (and wonderfully) mad. The result was a bestselling series of books, starting with Am I Alone in Thinking…?, which was number one in independent bookshops at Christmas 2009. The series, now in its fifth year, is an annual Christmas feature, selling over 200,000 copies in total.
